Beautiful Belle

I had a lovely photo session with this incredible cutie and her mom, Camille.  Belle is not only one beautiful little lady but she has sooo much personality as well.  She had so much to say and was so curious about our surroundings.  She was particularly concerned about a cow that we could not see but she was determined to find this cow.  I can still hear her saying “Where is cow ??”  Too cute !

I couldn’t believe what a little trooper she was as it was quite a chilly day.  She was all smiles and giggles and in the best of spirits.

Mom had brought some adorable outfits and accessories from her business Oma Gosh Designs.  Click here to check out their incredible creations!  I only wish the weather was warmer so that we could have shot so much more.  Belle was so photogenic and the outfits mom brought were some of the cutest I have seen.

Here is just a little teaser with more to come soon!

3 days left for cans for comments, so make sure to leave some comment lovin!

Gorgeous bokeh and light! <3 . I also love the details (especially that necklace photo- WOW).

Whitney’s first photo shoot!

One of my most favourite things about being a photographer is getting to capture special moments in time for people I love.  Well, this next session is one of those times for me.  Kristan and Willie just had the most beautiful baby girl Whitney, and I am so lucky that I got to spend a few moments with them capturing their first family photos.

Kristan and I have been best of friends since grade 3 !!  We go way back.  Back to the days of digging for dinosaur bones in the back yard, staying up all night chatting and giggling and memorizing every word of the latest TLC song, playing softball or soccer together (depending on the season) at least 3 days a week, countless sleepovers, tears … both happy and sad, trips together, sneaking out for slurpees and swims at the break of dawn.  I  could go on and on.  What I am getting at is that Kristan has been such an amazing part of my life.  A friend who has helped shape me into the person I am today and someone I have shared so many wonderful memories with.  I hope in my heart that Whitney grows up and finds a friendship like the one we have.

Enough of the sappy stuff 😉  Willie and Kristan officially got Darren and I addicted to the game Banagrams.  If you haven’t heard of it before you should check it out here!  If you dare!

Now on to some supreme cuteness !!  Don’t you just want to pinch those cheeks ?!!  Also, remember to leave a comment for my Cans for Comments fundraiser … details in the post below.

ChristineDecember 9, 2009 - 10:57 pm

Cans for Comments … it’s baaaaack !!

If you have been following my blog for awhile you may remember that last year I participated in this wonderful fundraiser that was started by the Emmy award winning Vancouver photographers Chris+Lynn called, Cans for Comments.  I am so glad to see that this fundraiser has caught on big time amongst the photographic community.  It is such a great simple concept that supports an amazing cause and I would really appreciate your support !!

Here’s how it works ….

For the next 10 days I will be blogging my little heart out and all you have to do to is leave me a comment.  Maybe one, maybe two, maybe twenty!  Maybe you want to comment on something recent, or perhaps browse through my archieves and leave me some comment loving on an old post that catches your eye.  Comment as often as you like!  The deal is that for every comment left to me on my blog over the next 10 days I will donate a can of food to my local foodbank!   How cool is that ?!

Now in order to leave a comment all you have to do is click on the link (it is on the bottom of every post) that says “Comment Please”.  Just fill out the necessary info and voila that will do it !!

In order to help spread the word, I will be posting about this on Facebook and Twitter and feel free to do the same with a link to my blog 🙂

Looking forward to hearing your comments and I hope that together we can raise a huge pile of canned goods for my local food bank!

As now post is complete without a photo … here is a quick teaser for my best friend Kristan and her beautiful family.  Seriously is she not the cutest thing you have EVER seen ??!  I could squeeze those cheeks for days!

More to come!
