I have been waiting to write this post for almost 4 months! And now as the moment has finally come for me to share this on my blog I am sitting here with the biggest smile on my face and happy tears in my eyes. I can’t believe I FINALLY get to share with all of you my newest most AMAZING favourite thing.
DARREN AND I ARE HAVING A BABY !!!!!
We are just SO thrilled. We were waiting to share our big news until we had our ultrasound which happened yesterday. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Our little baby swimming around inside me, kicking and stretching and yawning and flipping around, and yet I can’t feel a thing. I think I may have felt the first ‘flutter’ a couple nights ago while in bed. Perhaps it was wishful thinking. I can’t wait until I can feel baby and can participate in all of its adventures. I can’t wait to lay for hours at night just feeling baby move.
So far I would say I have been quite lucky with my pregnancy. I was in my third month in August, my busiest month of the year. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was worried and nervous about how I would feel. I worried about letting any of my clients down. I stressed about how I was feeling affecting my performance, or that I would maybe not come across as being as friendly or social as I would like to be. But lucky for me my extreme nausea passed in that third month and I am finally getting my energy back and once again feeling more like my ‘regular’ self again …. just a bit bigger. My baby belly can definitely no longer be hidden!
Baby is due to arrive March 18th, 2011 and we are counting down the days. I know it will be here before we know it.
So for my most Favourite Thing Friday post, I would like everyone to meet our wee little baby!

Ahh, Kim you brought me happiness tears!! Congratulations to you, Darren & Baby! Having a baby is the one of most amazing, special, inspiring, rewarding, loving, and challenging experiences we can experience. So happy and excited for you. Your baby is already one very blessed little Baby to have such a kind, loving, and wonderful mother.
I got a little misty when I read this post! Reminded me of the first time I heard the heartbeat of each of my boys, and their first ultrasounds. Congratulations! I hope you have a super happy and healthy pregnancy 🙂
