This beautiful family is such a pleasure to be around. I love their style. I love their positivity. I love their love for their new baby Weston. They are such naturals at being parents and I can’t wait to watch their little man grow up to be such a wonderful person like his parents.
I’ve been SO fortunate this year to receive a few emails that left my jaw on the floor … in a good way. This was one of them. The associate editor and art director for Weddingbells Magazine wrote to ME asking if I would be interested in being the BC photographer for a special feature they were going to be running on the prettiest cakes in Canada. Um, let me think about that for a second …. YES !!!
I got to head to Vancouver where I was able to meet with Anna of Anna Elizabeth Cakes, Meg of Cakes by Meg, and Thea of Sweet Thea. These ladies came up with some stunning cakes that were more than cakes .. more like art.

To all the awesome dads out there, today is YOUR day !! Happy Father’s Day 🙂 We are celebrating at our house with a french toast breakfast and a bagger for our riding lawn mower. Yep, dad’s stoked !
