So it’s not too often that I get asked to photograph a Miss Teen Canada contestant….ok it’s never happened before, until now!
A good friend of my mom’s contacted her with the incredible news that her daughter, Nicole, had been selected as a contestant in the Provincial British Columbia search for Miss Teen Canada-World !! WOO WOO…WAY TO GO NICOLE !! I gotta throw in a ” YOU GO GIRL!!”
The decision is based on a total package which included an interview by the Executive Director of Miss Teen Canada-World. They are looking for contestants with inner and outer beauty, skills, talents, achievements and motivations. Nicole definitely has all that and then some 😉
I was more than happy to do the head shots for her as part of her application package. We headed out to JEM Arabians which is a premier boarding, training and breeding facility located near Elk and Beaver Lake in Victoria. Nicole is an avid rider there and the owners were super awesome to let us use the stables as the location for our session. We really wanted the photos to reflect such an important part of her personality and this was the place to do it. We got going right away and Nicole’s sweet personality just radiated in the photos. She flashed that gorgeous smile for almost an hour straight and seemed to love every minute of it 🙂 We chit chatted throughout the session as we wandered the grounds finding some fun spots for backdrops. Nicole was just so adorable, polite, enthusiastic and such a pleasure to work with. Think this was one of my easiest sessions yet !
I can’t wait to hear the good news, as I have no doubt that this little lady is meant to be the next Miss Teen Canada!
