It’s been busy busy with lots of boudoir and I LOVE it !! Caley blew me away with the vision she had for her shoot. I am so pleased with how it turned out !

One of my favourite weddings of 2013 was published today on the gorgeous Artfully Wed. I think Erin and Kieran’s wedding and relaxed day was just perfection. Not to mention they got to share their wedding with their incredibly cute little man!

This shoot was inspired by the elegance and romance of Italy. The stunning Villa Marco Polo transported us to Italy with it’s beautiful architecture and exceptional interior styling. We fell in love with the romantic history of the Villa. In 1923, Major Fred Nation commissioned Percy Leonard James to design and supervise the building of the gracious residence. A wedding present for his beloved daughter, Helen Nation, and her soon-to-be husband, Robert Brackman Ker, this house became the home in which they raised and enjoyed children and grandchildren.
A rich palette of deep plum and pinks, accentuated by pops of green. A beautiful floral runner flowed along the dining table and was loosely wound with parrot tulips, peonies, eucalyptus leaves, snapdragons, and cherry blossoms. The guests stared down the table towards a classicly beautiful bay window at the lovely four tier cake which was adorned with elegant and intricate details. Above them hung a brilliant chandelier that was imported from Rome. Besides the traditional sugared almonds, guests were treated with favors of chipotle flavored olive oil. Before dinner guests dined on delicious breads, cheese, olives, meats, fruit and nuts accompanied by an assortment of wine and prosecco. The bride wore an elegant Anna Campbell dress which was covered in the most exquisite beading and suited the location perfectly. The romantic portraits were shot near the reflecting pool where a gorgeous fountain is the centerpiece of the Italianate gardens. I could go on, but I hope the images will tell their story and inspire you!

Time is going WAY too fast. Marina is getting chubbier by the hour, and it is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. She melts our hearts with every smile and giggle. She is the sweetest babe. She is so easy going, and makes our lives easy in every way possible. Sleeps like a champ, 10 hours plus every night for the past 3 months. Eats like a champ. And barely makes a peep, unless it’s a coo or giggle. We are so proud of our little miracle babe and can’t believe how happy she makes us already. Seeing how much Hayden and her love each other is too sweet for words, am I right ?!
