Lyndsay & Neils | Married

Lyndsay and Neils celebrated their incredible intimate winter wedding at one of my favourite venues in Victoria, Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse.

I love that Lyndsay chose to get ready at the Villa Marco Polo. It provided a spectacular romantic backdrop for their first look. Erin Bradley did Lyndsay’s beautiful hair and makeup. She looked flawless! Working with these two was a BREEEEEZE. Gorgeous. Sweet. Thoughtful. Relaxed. Focused completely on the true magic and meaning of their day.

Verbena floral design is such a dream team to work with and I LOVE what they created !!!! If only you could smell these florals. And the super sweet stationery was created by the fabulous Freckled Stationery.

Enjoy !!

Little Violet | Newborn Session

Becca and Matty are two of my favourite clients! I have adored each opportunity working with them over the years. From their gorgeous wedding – up until now, their sweetest milestone, little Miss Violet.

Becca is the owner of Freckled Stationery, and I knew she would create something dreamy for their shoot. The floral wreath was just perfect!

It is always an honour to be published in print, and so it was such a treat to see Jess and Jesse’s engagement image was chosen to be featured in the latest issue of Real Weddings Magazine!

Marina Violet is ONE !!

Marina Violet, our little miracle, is ONE.

After having Hayden, I couldn’t imagine loving anyone as much as I loved him. When I became pregnant with Marina, I wasn’t quite sure how I could handle that much love. My heart had swallowed me whole. As I watched my belly grow, my heart grew and grew. With each ultrasound and hearing her heartbeat my heart swelled a little bit more. I find this love can feel overwhelming. The love, worry, pride and vulnerability all seem to spill into each other.

Marina sleeping peacefully on my chest and rubbing my hair gently on her eyelashes. Or when Hayden sweetly tells me he loves me and that I am his best friend. Or when Darren and I watch the two of them cuddle and kiss when they don’t know we are watching … my heart has swallowed me whole.

These two tiny humans. I can’t imagine life without them.

“To have a child is to walk around all day with your heart outside your body.” This quote spoke to me before I was pregnant and now I know it to be true.

Our little Marina is one! Cheers to you, our sweet Missy Moo. We love you with all we have.

Styled Shoot | Farm-to-table Wedding Inspiration

One of my favourite things to do is garden. I adore flowers and have for as long as I can remember. At our home I have a huge portion of our garden dedicated to cut flowers and I even have an adorable farm stand where I sell some of these beauties – my biggest crops are peonies and dahlias. I am so excited about the local flower movement that is gaining momentum and I know a lot of local florists are thrilled as well.

I was fortunate enough to be apart of a styled shoot that focused on creating a locally inspired farm-to-table wedding, and it was a LOT of fun. Clare Day Flowers, who also owns Red Damsel Farm, styled this wonderful shoot and sourced so many goodies right from her farm.

We were so happy to see it featured on Eco Beautiful Weddings, and hope you like the images too!
