The big three camera companies are Nikon, Canon, and Sony, each of which has had a great few years in the camera industry. Nikon pushed itself as the technology advanced. From DSLRs to mirrorless cameras, the company has introduced some exciting options, which include breakthroughs such as BSI or stacked CMOS sensors, as well as dual gain readout. If you are someone who is looking to buy a new camera from a company that offers good dynamic range, here are some options.
Nikon Z8

The Nikon Z8 is a full frame camera with a 45MP sensor, EXPEED 7 processing engine, and offers 120 fps shooting options. The device can also shoot 8K videos. The device is weather-resistant, lightweight, and the camera works well with Profoto lights. The autofocus is on par with the Z9, and the subject detection is also quite impressive. We could photograph a chihuahua easily. The latter works well even when you are shooting in low light. As for the images, the colors pop piy and the ISO output is also exceptionally clean. As we further added, “With that said, the Nikon Z8 produces nice JPEGs, especially with certain image setting modes and even the portrait impressions settings.”
Nikon Z7 II

The Z7 II features a 45MP sensor, a 3690k-dot EVF, can record 4K videos at 60 fps, and can flash sync up to 1/200. The camera addresses issues of the first generation, upgrading the video quality and improving overall performance. For instance, the autofocus improves in accuracy, but it is not as fast as the Canon R. The image quality is comparable to that of the D850, and it can recover details from overexposed photos. High ISO is also beneficial, but only up to 6400. As we added, “The dynamic range is good, with lots of wiggle room in the RAW files. With the high megapixel count, photos are incredibly detailed.” It also works best for portraits, weddings, landscapes, and similar genres.
Nikon Zf

The Zf is designed after the Df, a camera that offers modern technology with a classic design. The camera features a 24MP sensor, an EXPEED 7 processor, 273 phase-detection AF points, and a 2.4m-dot EVF. The device is durable, weather-resistant, and has an exciting design with knobs. The camera is capable, fast, and can operate in low light conditions. But it is not the same as the Z9. As for images, JPEG provides great image quality, allowing one to recover a significant amount of detail from both highlights and shadows. The Zf also produces clean images at ISO 51,200. As we added, “And it’s quite capable of doing almost everything that the Nikon Z8 and Nikon Z9 can do.”
